Mommy: Do you want to get Gray a birthday present?

Nate: Yes.

Mommy: Do you know what you want to get him?

Nate: No.

Mommy: Do you want to go shopping with me to pick something out?

Nate: No, you can just pick something out for me.

Mommy: OK, we'll get him a tricycle from the whole family.

While Nate doesn't care what the gift is, he does want to make sure we get it. As we left for school this morning he says "Don't forget to get a tricycle for Gray today."
