Well, I just scheduled Gray's fourth surgery.
We visited the pulmonologist last Wednesday and found out that Gray had yet another bilateral ear infection. That was the third on in two months. Since its been such a fight to keep him in good health, Dr. Rembecki recommended that we get tubes put in his ears. This should at least prevent the ear infections.
Dr. Rembecki made us an appointment with Dr. Trone, the ENT that Gray saw when he was in the hospital as a baby. We visited Dr. Trone on Thursday. He recommended removing the adenoids in addition to inserting the tubes. Dr. Trone will also take a quick peek at the epiglottis to make sure there are no further problems from the cyst that was removed a year ago.
They did a very basic hearing test while we were in the office and Gray was within the normal range. They did recommend that we do a complete hearing test in the future.
Gray will have the surgery on June 25th. Please keep him in your prayers.
