Nate's team won their last three games of the season. They finished the regular season in third place. It feels familiar. Maybe it's because they were in third at the end of last season with the same two teams in first and second. Here are a few highlights from Saturday's game.
The team mom, we'll call her Crazy Cindy, invited all of the boys to a sleep over. The boys had a great time and made a surprise for the coaches.
The coaches were definitely surprised and had fun running through their special sign.
Nate got one run during the game and did a great job. Ignore the crazy mom (this time its me) yelling in the background. If you have kids in sports you understand how easy it is go crazy.
Nate's team is heading to the playoffs next week. They'll take on the Wild Dawgz. If the boys play perfectly they have a chance of winning. The Wild Dawgz are a club team and practice all summer long. I'm not holding my breath that Nate will be playing in the championship game.
