Nike Flexon Glasses Can Be Broken!

It finally happened, Nate's glasses got broken.

He wears the Nike Flexon frames. They are advertised as being practically unbreakable. They show them getting twisted and bouncing back into shape. However, a perfectly placed football will snap the bridge (nose).

Kenny and Nate were tossing the football around the back yard yesterday afternoon. Nate had caught 10 passes in a row. Kenny threw one a little high and it just snapped the glasses. Kenny rushes Nate in the house saying "check his eyes, his glasses broke."

Nate had a small cut on his nose, but is otherwise unharmed. Once I got neosporin on it he was OK. He didn't even want ice.

Luckily the eye doctor was still open, so we made a quick trip to order a new pair. We like this brand of frames because they have a warranty and get replaced for free. Hopefully the new frames will be in on Friday or Saturday.
