We have a biter!

Luckily for the kids in Gray's class, he's the bitee too.

When we dropped Gray off this morning his teacher, Meghan, told us she noticed on Friday that he had been bitten. The bite was still wet, but there weren't other kids by him. Then she looked at the teeth marks and saw that there were top and bottom teeth. He's the only kid in the class that has that many, so she concluded that he must have bitten himself.

We told her that yes, we had noticed him chewing on himself over the weekend too.

There must be something in our genes, because Nate also bit himself when he was about this age. Nate's teachers kept noticing bite marks on him, but never saw anyone bite him and weren't having problems with other kids getting bit. Then, one day, Nate's teacher took a close look at the teeth marks on Nate and realized they were his teeth marks because no one else in the class had a gap in the front like Nate's. He continued to do it during nap time for several months.

It's really strange how the two of them can be so similar. Actually, its more scary than strange. I think I should be worried.
